Finally...

went to pay for the banquet deposit ytd... yippie!! one thing cfm... now can relax abit le...

today on the mrt to work today... i was sitting down, listening to my ipod and the guy sitting beside me was reading his notes... this indian lady board the train with her daughter... her daughter was ard 3-4 yrs old... she walk towards us and point at the space between me and the guy... next min her daughter tried to squeeze in and sit in between the 2 of us!!! i cant believe my eyes lor... if there is an empty seat i can understand but that's wat her mother told her to do... i dun blame the small gal... but wat is the mother thinking... is this the correct way of teaching a child... so next time when she is older will she go ard trying to squeeze in between ppl juz to get a seat... aiyo!

We got it!

Kaylynn emailed me yesterday with the contract... Cool!! we got the date we wanted!! will be going down to pay the deposit thurs after work... we seems abit ks! but guess it's better to be early than not getting the date... phew! one thing down to worry...

FYP is another thing to headache abt... so many things to do within such a short period... we targeted to finish coding before CNY so that we got time to do the final report... omg CNY is only 3 weeks away...

Marina Mandarin Wedding Show...

went for the marina mandarin wedding show yesterday... asked Kaylynn, the assistant catering sales manager if 19 Sep 09 has been taken up as we planned to hold our wedding that day... was quite shocked when she said it was still available as i read in the forum alot has already booked their banquets for next year... i guess it is better to book early... but she will double checked and draft out the contract if everything is ok... hope everything goes smoothly!

Dinner @ Melt - The World Café

we said before wanted to go mark's working place, Mandarin Oriental to eat but we are always bz with school projects... finally yesterday we met up and went there for dinner at Melt - The World Café... but quite sad Chin Soon could not join us...

But anyway we eat until very full... food was good... they have a BBQ section and there are giant prawns, beef steak, chicken, sausages and many more... there is one section with different types of chesse for you to go along with biscuits... of course i love the dessert section most lol... dessert are my best frens... but i was too full i couldnt try them all... all thanks to mark for the staff discount hehe... half price man... else dun think i would spend so much for a normal dinner...

office at synergy...

2nd day at synergy... the ride here is so long... i only need max 30 mins when i was in bedok... now is double the time... :( only gd thing abt here is there is no govt... other than that, cant think of anymore gd reason... even the desk is smaller here...

Kelong trip..

this is my 1st time going to a kelong and with such a big grp of ppl... total there are 15 of us... most were maw's colleagues plus their partners... the kelong is in sibu island in the middle of south china sea... took 2 hrs on bus and 30 mins on boat before reaching the kelong...

was a very different experience from the normal holidays i went for... it is really a place for u to relax and get away from our stressful lifestyles... but i guess if u love fishing u will enjoy it more... lucky for us, we were quite a big grp so beside fishing we still can play cards and mahjong... maw enjoyed fishing thou... he caught quite a few... and i only managed to catch one... but still at least i did caught one...

maw got very bad sun burnt from not applying sun block... he was so red... this should teach him a lesson hehe... overall was an enjoyable trip!
