J.Co Donuts

heard J.Co Donuts is good so went for dinner at Raffles City with family and bought one box to try... there was queue as usual and lucky papa queued for me so when i reached it was already my turn... left not much flavours to choose from... unlike most donut shops where they will display what flavours they are selling together with the pictures... J.Co dun have so was abit messy when ordering as i dunno wat flavours they have therefore cant decide in advance... was good but i personally still prefer Donut Factory as the pastry is very light...

Was bit messy by the time we reached home...

Final Presentation

had the presentation for our last module last sat... finally it's over! all 10 modules down! wat a relieve... waiting for my cert now!

went to watch L Change the World...


L is my idol lol... he looks so different in real life... not as cool as in the movie lol... the amt of sweets he eats in 1 movie is scary... imagine this is his 3rd movie... quite sad as he died in this movie... wonder will there be a part 4 of the movie talking more on N...

overall i feel the movie is as nice as part 1 and part 2 although there is no linkage btw this movie and the last 2...

Jumper...

watch Jumper today...
didnt know the main character is the guy who acted as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars until maw told me... im not very good at recognising ang mo ppl... movie was not too bad... whole theatre was full... when i went to buy the tickets... it's already almost 3/4 full... the lady at the ticketing counter was also shocked when she showed and asked me to choose seats...

after movie, we went to test fit our wedding bands... everything was ok and Achilla said the next time they called us the rings will be completed... so excited to see the final product...

ate dinner at a restaurant called Mingle in Novena Sq... i ate the spaghetti vongele and maw ate the rosti with sausage... food there is nice... eat until very full... the set includes soup of the day, drink, main course and dessert... very worth the money...

3rd day of Lunar New Year

watched CJ7 today...
was a very family orientated show... good to watch with kids... the alien was so cute! all 3 movies are nice in their own ways but i still like Ah Long... guess the movie is directed at sg cultures therefore it's more funny...

we went to Sentosa flowers 2008 after the movie... it was so packed... been to sentosa many times and this was the first time i see sentosa so crowded! everywhere was human jam...

even the train back to vivo need to queue for almost 15 mins... while we were queueing up... this auntie behind us complained to the staff that someone cut queue and asked him to go asked the lady to go to the back to queue... making alot of noise... haiz typical singaporean...

2nd day of Lunar New Year

watched Kungfu Dunk today...

i muz say jay chou's acting skills improved alot... not too bad but i still prefer Ah Long Pte Ltd... upper half of the movie was ok until the part when he went back into time to replay the match... i find that part spoils the whole movie... wasnt expecting this type of ending... therefore Ah Long Pte Ltd is still top on the list followed by Kungfu Dunk... where will CJ7's position be on the list...

1st day of Lunar New Year

went to watch Ah Long Pte Ltd at cathay...

juz as the show was abt to start... the sound for the movie went off and was playing songs (if u go into the theatre very early before they start showing the advertisements) instead... someone went to inform the cathay staff and it went on for a few minutes until they stopped the movie... a staff told us there was some technical fault and movie should resume in 10-15 mins...

maw was looking forward to the movie therefore was a bit frustrated with the situation... we watched the 1110pm movie but by the time they fixed it... it was already 1140... waited almost 30 mins....

but lucky the movie wasn't disappointing... another successful movie by Jack Neo... it was very entertaining especially the character Mark Lee acted as... 1 movie down... 2 more to go... Kungfu Dunk and CJ7! Wonder which movie will rank top on my cny movie list...

Year of the Rat

time for the rat to come out and say hello to everyone... time passed so fast... seems like the year of the piggy juz arrived not too long ago... hope this yr will be a better one than last yr... Huat ah!

Settlers @ Clarke Quay

ytd was jessy's last day... few of us gave her a farewell at Settlers... this is my second time at the Clarke Quay branch... service there was very slow both time i went... junias ordered black pepper chicken chop... although she was the last to order, it took extremely long to arrive... and when it was served, the chicken was still quite rare... omg...

but we still had fun playing pictionary lol... i muz admit im not gd at drawing... andy drew a guy that look like ali baba but it turn out to be Buddha... haha... couldnt stop laughing after knowing what each other was drawing... it's really nice to go relax once in a while...
