there was promotion price for the new Siloso Beach Resort and so maw booked and we went there for a 3 days 2 nites stay... met at Vivo for lunch and went to watch Semi-Pro before checking in to the resort at 3pm...

quite a disappointing movie and not as entertaining as wat is expected... after movie we checked into the resort... although the resort is supposed to be fairly new and should have sea view, but things in the room doesnt seems as new and the sea view is blocked. after putting our bags and since we were given 3 days pass in and out of sentosa... we went back to vivo for dinner... i always wanted to try the dessert as BakerInn and since they also have main meal so we decided to go there for dinner... i order a ham and bacon aglio olio and maw ordered a meatball spaghetti... food wasnt really very nice and potion was small too... after main course we order dessert...

me and maw feel it's not worth eating there... 2 main courses and 2 desserts cost $52... guess there were be a first and a last time...

resort provided free breakfast so we woke up early for the breakfast! breakfast was not bad... buffet style... after breakfast we went for sun tan at the resort swimming pool and went for a walk at siloso beach... although it was a weekday and school holiday was over... the beach was still fairly crowded... we walked one round den went back for a swim...

most headache in sentosa is food... there is only a Kou Fu food court there... we went to take a look and found not much food there... while walking out we heard a guy talking and found out was the bird show... the parrots performed tricks like throwing rings into hoops, and matching color blocks of different shapes of wood into the respective placement... they can even do maths! after the show there is a close encounters with the parrot...

the parrot is quite heavy... there was another show with not only birds but monkey, snake and monitor lizard... muz be interesting working with animals... at least there were be politics hehe... we went to Marche for dinner... we eat until very full and it's still cheaper than BakerInn...

checked out at 12 pm the next day after the very filling breakfast... they had pancakes this time round and i ate 4... wow shiok! long time since i last ate pancakes although i was hoping they had waffles hehe...

Vantage Point...

watched Vantage Point today at Cathay Cineleisure...

another unlucky movie day... we went to buy tickets at B1... was looking at the timing... there is the 1pm and 2pm for normal shows and a 3pm for digital... although i dunno wat's the different, normally i will choose the digital... but maw said watch the 2pm so we dun need to wait so long... so he asked for the 2pm and then we went for lunch... after lunch we came back and showed our tickets... she told us the tickets were for the 1pm show... omg we were stunned.... she asked us to go to level 5 to change and in the end we ended up watching the digital one at 3pm... think it's fated lol... omg... the lady at the cashier was so blur! lesson learnt! always check ur tickets or receipt before you leave the counter....

after movie we went down to Suntec to buy my piggies' food and ate dinner with Herby and Vanessa... den we went prawn finishing after that... hehe first time for Herby and Vanessa... hope they had fun... it was fun for me!

The Spiderwick Chronicles...

watched The Spiderwick Chronicles at GV Bishan today...

kids movie... overall was ok... think we were very unlucky with cinemas... technical problem again when the movie started for less than 10 mins... the whole show gone off and the lights came on... so freaky... lucky they didnt took 15 mins to rectify... but they didnt restart the movie though...

after movie... went to maw's house for steamboat dinner... eat until so full... and there was even cake... yummy love the cake... no matter how full i am... there is always space for dessert!

Dinner @ Keyaki

had an early bdae celebration for maw's mother at Keyaki Restaurant... you have to walk thru a jap garden with koi pond to get to the restaurant... food was awesome... we had the kaiseki set which consists of about 9-10 dishes... as the dishes are seasonal therefore it wun be the same all the time... very interesting to see every dish that was served...

10,000 BC and Rule #1

watched 10,000 BC on friday...

movie was not bad... but was sitting abit close to the front therefore some parts of the movie when there was fighting... abit headache as i was trying to concentrate...

next we watched Rule #1 on sat...

this movie is nice too... storyline is good... i was still abit afraid that it's not nice but lucky it didnt disappoint me... ekin put on quite abit of weight... looks so different when he acted in a recent HK drama serial, 隨時候命...

Bad Week...

what a bad working week... one problem after another... juz did a patch to the live server today... test the application after running the DLL... one of the function not working... so we fixed it and compiled 2nd version... run the DLL and error page appeared after clicking on every link... andy tot didnt compile properly so we did the 3rd time and same problem... damn stressed... he tried resetting the IIS and finally it's working... I hate patching the live server...

when i tot everything was over, user called and say another function not working... haiz... tmr need to go patch again... hope after patching tmr everything will be fine... pray hard!

Meet the Spartans

movie of the week...

it's similar to movies like scary movie and epic movie where they make fun of various movies... but it focus mainly on the movie 300... some parts are stupid... guess this type of spoof movie is more funny if u have watch or know abt the movies, TV shows and people they make fun of...

after the movie, we went to collect our wedding bands... it's finally ready! turn out quite good and maw love it alot... keep looking at it the whole nite lol... the rings are very heavy man!

we went to eat at this new steamboat place opp novena church after collecting the rings... not too bad not only there is steamboat... they have bbq also... but the ppl didnt tell us there is bbq... so we paid and when maw came back with the meat... he said so weird they had chicken wings... how are we supposed to cook it as the steamboat is without the frying area like in Seoul Garden... i looked ard and saw 1 guy standing right at the end of the shop bbqing food so i guess we can bbq too and i'm right... the staff should have explained to us... dunno wat's going on... they have live prawns and crabs and we were wondering how to collect it... den i saw a customer hand a receipt to the staff so i once again guess is pay first den eat... they didnt say anything juz gave us the paper stating how many ppl... wat a guessing dinner we had...
